It is
with regret that guitarist, Malcolm Treece, has
decided to leave The
Wonder Stuff. Malcolm made his decision after recent tensions regarding the future
of the band reached a head following a handful of
live shows the band played in October last year.
Commenting on Treece’s departure from The Wonder
Stuff, Miles Hunt, vocalist, guitarist and principle
songwriter, said “It is indeed a shame that Malc
will no longer be with us, but the name of the band
and it’s body of work is far greater than any one
member, as our history has constantly proved”.
Following two very successful shows in December 2011
to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Never
Loved Elvis album, where Jesus Jones' Jerry de Borg
filled in for Malcolm, the remaining members of the
group are taking some time out to decide on the
future of the group. |
